la preparazione invernale di laetitia Roux è ormai agli sgoccioli. Questo fine settimana la campionessa transalpina sarà infatti al via del campionato francese di vertical. La gara avrà un dislivello positivo di 520 e sarà anche il primo trail stagione di una delle atlete più attese della stagione 2013-2014. «Sono molto eccitata di iniziare a correre nuovamente. Sarà una bella gara che mi permetterà di capire a che punto sono e come sono le mie sensazioni dopo l’infortunio di quest’autunno».

Laetitia Roux’s preparation for the winter is coming to its end. This Saturday her season will start with the French Vertical Race Championships. The race is going to be held in Les 7 Laux (Isère), in a track with a 520 vertical ascent.
 
“My goal in this first race is going to be to see how my body and mind are feeling after the summer. Each year I have the same feeling of starting the engines again, it’s a sort of a ritual already, so I want to profit the weekend to do that, and of course try to do my best during the race”, said Laetitia.
 
On the starting line, top French skiers such as Axelle Moralet or Valentine Favre will try to take away the championship she already won last year. “I’m sure the girls will be ready to give it all, so it’s going to be a nice battle I think. I didn’t do my regular preparation due to the two injuries I suffered during the autumn, so it’s going to be a good test for a long winter season”.
 
This days, in addition to her training, she has spent a few days in “Les Étoiles du Sport”, a sportive event that got her the opportunity to share moments with other top athletes from around the country: “It was a great experience, I got to meet people that practice sports that are very different from mine and get new experiences”.
